Tim Dugan is a Philadelphia based actor, director and teacher. Born and raised in Upstate New York, Tim holds an MFA in Acting (summa cum laude) from Temple University. He is an active member of AEA and SAG-AFTRA.
Tim serves as Associate Artistic Director and Director of Education for Saratoga Shakespeare Company and has been a part of the company for eleven seasons playing such roles as Bottom, Macbeth, Benedick and Orsino to name a few.
Other favorite credits include Straight White Men-InterAct Theatre, Long Live the Little Knife-Inis Nua Theatre, Bengal Tiger at the Baghdad Zoo, Macbeth, The Crucible and The Marriage of Bette & Boo-Temple University Theaters; Doubt, Song For My Father, Tuesdays with Morrie-Oldcastle Theatre Company.
In addition to performing, Tim teaches Acting and Directing at Bates College as an Assistant Professor and is a teaching artist with Philadelphia Young Playwrights. He has also served on the faculty of Temple University, UArts, Saint Joseph’s University, Union College and the John Sayles School of Fine Arts.
He resides with his wife and three beautiful children in Elkins Park, PA and in Lewiston, Maine.
